Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio has become the most gleefully booed man in wrestling — a run of heel work so effective it turned the son of wrestling's most beloved luchador into its most delightful villain. Dirty Dom joined the Judgment Day in 2022, betraying his father Rey with a Christmas-ruining, prison-cosplaying arrogance that crowds cannot wait to jeer.

The gimmick works because the craft is real: his timing, bumping and reluctant-tough-guy shtick — being drowned out by boos every time he raises a microphone — show a natural feel for wrestling psychology. He captured the NXT North American Championship and later the Intercontinental Championship, wrestling in the style of his idol Eddie Guerrero, lying, cheating and stealing his way to gold.

His expansion into AAA connected him to his lucha heritage, mask-free but full of malice. WrestleRanks voters rank Dom high for the oldest reason in wrestling: everyone pays to see the bad guy get what's coming.
