Nick Gage is deathmatch wrestling's undisputed king — the MDK gang's pizza-cutter-wielding folk hero whose GCW World Championship reigns and light-tube wars built American deathmatch wrestling's modern renaissance. His street credibility is literal: prison time for bank robbery preceded wrestling redemption.

His 2021 match against Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite — pizza cutter and all — brought ultraviolence to cable television and Gage to mainstream infamy. Big Gulp gestures and MDK all day chants follow him through every building on the independent circuit.
