Jon Moxley
Jon Moxley walked out of WWE in 2019 as Dean Ambrose, a Shield member and former WWE Champion frustrated by scripted comedy, and reinvented himself as the most dangerous man in wrestling. In AEW and New Japan he rebuilt his reputation on violence, unscripted-feeling promos and a workload few main-eventers attempt.
A multi-time AEW World Champion and former IWGP United States Champion, Moxley has anchored AEW through its most turbulent moments — winning the interim title after CM Punk's 2022 controversy and steadying the locker room as its shop steward. His Blackpool Combat Club faction with Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli brought fight-club legitimacy to AEW television, and his Death Riders arc turned that legitimacy menacing.
