Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay may be the best pure in-ring wrestler on the planet. The Aerial Assassin rose from the British independent scene to conquer New Japan, winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and producing a run of matches — against Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega and Shingo Takagi — that collected match-of-the-year honors like stamps.
His 2023 calendar was arguably the greatest single in-ring year ever recorded, with his Wrestle Kingdom and G1 performances setting critical records. In 2024 he signed with AEW full-time, immediately delivering classics with Bryan Danielson, Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita and winning the International Championship.
