Konosuke Takeshita

Konosuke Takeshita is the future of the main event, arriving ahead of schedule. The DDT standout came to AEW in 2022 as a talented unknown to Western audiences and within two years was widely considered one of the best wrestlers in the world — a six-foot-two athlete who moves with junior heavyweight speed and hits with heavyweight violence.

As the Alpha of Don Callis's family, he collected marquee victories over Kenny Omega and delivered universally acclaimed matches with Will Ospreay, including their Forbidden Door 2024 encounter that many called the match of the year. His falcon arrow and jumping knee have become finisher-quality weapons in themselves.
