Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre's career is a redemption story two decades long. Anointed as the Chosen One in his first WWE run, he flamed out, was released, and rebuilt himself on the independents and in Evolve until WWE could not ignore him. His 2020 Royal Rumble win and WrestleMania 36 victory over Brock Lesnar crowned the Scottish Warrior as WWE Champion.

The pandemic denied him a crowd for his title reigns, a wound that became story fuel: McIntyre's later pursuit of a championship moment in front of fans, including an emotional near-miss at WrestleMania 40 and a spiteful cash-in by CM Punk's rival-turned-nemesis, evolved him into a bitter, brutally honest heel with some of the best social media game in wrestling.
